Macon Quilts & Embroidery began as a simple love for quilting—something owner Effie picked up as a hobby and quickly fell in love with. What started as a creative pastime soon grew into a full-fledged business, fueled by her passion for craftsmanship and her desire to bring meaningful, beautifully finished pieces to others.

Since opening in 2016, the shop has proudly served Macon and the surrounding northern Missouri communities, becoming a trusted destination for both long arm quilting and custom embroidery work. Effie’s studio is home to a 14-foot long arm quilting machine, a rare and impressive piece of equipment that allows her to create smooth, intricate designs with exceptional precision. From heirloom quilts to everyday projects, each piece is handled with care, artistry, and skilled hands.

Alongside quilting, Macon Quilts & Embroidery offers a full range of custom embroidery services, including business logo embroidery, digitizing, personalized bedding, and one-of-a-kind specialty pieces.
